The long weekend has been pretty good so far - good food, good city, good friends and Guu. Oh Guu, you are awesome.
A lot of my friends have been raving about Guu, so I thought that I’d give it a try. And you know what? I really did enjoy it. The servers and cooks would greet you in the most insanely cheerful way possible, and when you leave, they would send you off the same way they welcomed you (screaming something in Japanese and waving excitedly at you). I don’t know how they managed to sustain such a happy note for the entire day, or even for the week, but I’m going to guess that Sake’s a big part of it.
Anyway, I want to go “Guu-ing” again in the future, because when it comes to happy people and good food, I’m a super-fan.
